Despite the massive success of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2, Ranveer Singh has kept a notably low profile, choosing family time over public appearances as Deepika Padukone continues filming King overseas.

According to sources close to the production, Ranveer is currently focused on caring for the couple’s daughter, Dua, while Deepika shoots alongside Shah Rukh Khan in South Africa.

“It’s nice to see how supportive Ranveer and Deepika are of each other,” a source said, adding that while Deepika is busy filming, Ranveer has been taking on parenting duties and spending quality time with their daughter.

The insider added that despite riding high on the success of Dhurandhar and working on his upcoming film Pralay, Ranveer has deliberately chosen to stay away from the limelight.

Deepika, Shah Rukh shoot romantic scenes for King

Meanwhile, Deepika — who is reportedly expecting her second child with Ranveer — is continuing work on King.

Leaked videos from the South Africa shoot have gone viral online, with the latest footage showing Deepika and Shah Rukh filming what appears to be a romantic beach sequence at sunset.

In the clip, Deepika is seen in a flowing white dress while Shah Rukh wears a striped shirt with black trousers.

Earlier visuals from the set showed the two walking hand in hand, fuelling speculation that the scenes are part of a song sequence.

Ranveer’s next: Pralay

Ranveer’s upcoming project Pralay is expected to be a post-apocalyptic thriller set in a devastated Mumbai.

The film will reportedly use AI-driven visual effects to portray a decaying futuristic city.

It will mark the theatrical directorial debut of Jai Mehta, son of filmmaker Hansal Mehta, and is being co-produced by Hansal Mehta and Sameer Nair’s Applause Entertainment.

For now, though, Ranveer appears to be prioritising fatherhood over the spotlight.
