Hanuman Ansh Crosses ₹350 Crore Worldwide, Earns 175x Its Budget, Surpasses Peddi, Toxic, Jana Nayagan

The box office juggernaut Hanuman Ansh continues its remarkable run. Made on a shoestring budget of just ₹2 crore and without major stars, the devotional film has emerged as one of the biggest box office success stories in Indian cinema.

On its seventh weekend, Hanuman Ansh crossed the ₹350 crore mark worldwide, an extraordinary achievement for a film that initially struggled to find an audience.

Hanuman Ansh Box Office Update

Hanuman Ansh did not have a strong start at the box office. The film opened to just ₹10 lakh and collected around ₹1.50 crore during its first two weeks, leading many to write it off early in its theatrical run.

However, positive word of mouth gradually transformed its fortunes. From its fourth week onward, the film has reportedly collected more than ₹60 crore net in India every week.

On Monday, its 46th day in theatres, Hanuman Ansh earned around ₹4 crore net in India, taking its domestic collection to ₹276 crore net and ₹326 crore gross.

The film is now the fourth-highest-grossing film in India in 2026, behind Dhurandhar 2, Border 2 and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The film also received a delayed overseas release after Hombale Films acquired its worldwide distribution rights earlier this month. In three weeks overseas, it has grossed around $2.8 million.

With this, Hanuman Ansh has reached a worldwide gross of approximately ₹352 crore in 46 days.

Hanuman Ansh Surpasses Several Pan-India Films

The film’s extraordinary run has now taken it into the top three highest-grossing Indian films of 2026.

Over the past five days, Hanuman Ansh has climbed from outside the top 10 to the top three, showing little sign of slowing down.

During the weekend, the film surpassed the lifetime worldwide collections of several major pan-India releases, including Vijay’s Jana Nayagan (₹324 crore), Yash’s Toxic (₹341 crore) and Ram Charan’s Peddi (₹342 crore).

Its next major target is Border 2, which collected more than ₹450 crore worldwide earlier this year.

What Is Hanuman Ansh About?

Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh follows Lakshminarayan, a young man grieving the death of his mother.

He embarks on a spiritual journey across North India in search of answers about God, life, death and human suffering. His journey eventually leads him to become the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba.

The film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa in the lead role, alongside Vihaan Shedge, Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Bhagvandas Patel.
