Mirzapur The Movie Crosses ₹200 Crore Worldwide in Seven Days, Becomes 5th-Highest Hindi Grosser of 2026
The Movie has crossed the ₹200-crore mark at the worldwide box office within seven days of its release, emerging as the fifth-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2026.
The gangster action thriller has benefited from strong domestic collections, particularly in mass centres across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, and has maintained a steady pace through the weekdays.
Mirzapur The Movie Box Office Collection
The film opened strongly, earning ₹25 crore on its first day and crossing ₹100 crore worldwide during its opening weekend. Its collections remained steady on Monday, helping it avoid the sharp weekday drop typically seen after a big opening.
By Thursday, the film was still earning more than ₹10 crore net per day. After seven days, its India collection stood at ₹148 crore net, or ₹177 crore gross.
The film has performed particularly well in northern India and smaller centres. Reports suggest several single-screen theatres in tier-2 cities have recorded houseful afternoon shows.
On Thursday, Mirzapur: The Movie registered around 43% occupancy for night shows across India, with occupancy exceeding 60% in cities such as Lucknow, Jaipur and Bhopal.
The film has also performed well overseas after a relatively slow start. Its international collections picked up over the weekend, reaching $3.7 million by Thursday, led largely by North America and the Middle East.
With this, the film’s worldwide gross has reached ₹213 crore after seven days. It is the sixth Hindi film to cross ₹200 crore worldwide in 2026 and only the third to achieve the feat within its first week.
Mirzapur Beats Awarapan 2
Mirzapur: The Movie entered the year’s top five highest-grossing Hindi films with its Thursday collections.
With a worldwide gross of ₹213 crore, it has overtaken Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2, which has earned slightly more than ₹212 crore. Given Awarapan 2’s slowing pace, it is unlikely to reclaim the fifth position.
Devotional film Hanuman Ansh, which has collected nearly ₹193 crore entirely from India, is also closing in on Awarapan 2. It is expected to cross the film’s worldwide total this weekend, while its overseas release later this month could further increase its earnings.
Mirzapur: The Movie is now targeting two more films ahead of it — Akshay Kumar’s Dhamaal 4, which has grossed ₹224 crore, and Bhooth Bangla, which has earned ₹247 crore worldwide.
