Salman Khan shows off ripped physique at 60, drops cryptic note: ‘Jo darr gaya voh mar gaya’
Actor Salman Khan has sparked fresh speculation on social media with a cryptic Instagram post that many believe is aimed at critics who questioned his support for the ongoing student protests over the NEET paper leak.
On Friday night, the superstar shared photos from a late-night gym session, showing off his ripped physique and toned abs. Wearing a towel around his head after an intense workout, Salman impressed fans with his fitness, but it was his caption that stole the spotlight.
“Salman Khan darrrrr gaya… Hmmmm… Jo darr gaya vo mar gaya (Salman Khan got scared… The one who fears is as good as dead),” he wrote.
The post comes days after Salman publicly backed students participating in the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led protest, expressing sorrow over the violence that erupted following a police lathi charge.
Calling the paper leak issue “very serious,” the actor praised students for peacefully demanding a better education system and lauded their determination to secure a brighter future.
“I truly appreciate the stand they have taken… This generation will make India proud,” Salman had written, while urging that the movement should not be politicised and expressing hope that the government would strengthen the education system.
His statement received widespread attention, with many praising him for supporting the students. However, some social media users claimed the actor had spoken out because he was “scared.” Fans now believe his latest “Jo darr gaya vo mar gaya” post is a direct response to those allegations.
Salman’s upcoming films
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film, originally titled Battle of Galwan, was renamed to broaden its narrative beyond a single military clash and reportedly ease geopolitical sensitivities. Its release has been delayed, and a new date is yet to be announced.
The actor is also set to star alongside Nayanthara in director Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming film, tentatively titled SVC63, backed by producer Dil Raju. The film is currently in production and is expected to release during Eid 2027.
