Yogi Adityanath hits back at Opposition over Ram Temple donation row, says guilty will face action
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday targeted the Opposition over allegations of embezzlement of donations collected for the Ram Mandir, saying strict action was taken after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) submitted its report.
Addressing the controversy, Adityanath said those found responsible had been arrested and warned against using the issue to attack Ayodhya or devotees of Lord Ram.
“Do not cast an evil eye on Ayodhya. Do not test Ram’s devotees. If there is evidence, present it before the SIT,” he said, hitting out at Opposition parties questioning the handling of the case.
The Chief Minister said the matter was being dealt with through legal procedures and that action would be taken against anyone found guilty.
