Param Sundari Promotions: Janhvi Kapoor Radiates Ethnic Glam in Anita Dongre Lehenga

Janhvi Kapoor, who is in the middle of promotions for her upcoming film Param Sundari, turned heads on Saturday as she celebrated Krishna Janmashtami at a Dahi Handi event in Mumbai.

The actress opted for a golden-white lehenga by Anita Dongre, featuring a heavily embellished sleeveless blouse with ornate detailing and a flowing skirt with golden accents. She styled the look with kundan earrings and a floral braid, sharing glimpses of her outfit on social media before the event.

At the celebration, Janhvi not only interacted with fans but also joined in the tradition, breaking the Dahi Handi pot with a smile. “Zor se marna padega,” she quipped before smashing it successfully, to loud cheers from the crowd. She also impressed attendees by speaking in Marathi.

Although her co-star Sidharth Malhotra was missing from Saturday’s promotions, Janhvi made light of it in a playful post: “Param was missing today so found myself another Sundariiiiii @srashtisoni26 for Dahi Handiiiiiii.”

Janhvi and Sidharth will be seen next in Tushar Jalota’s Param Sundari, a romance between a North Indian boy and a Kerala girl, also starring Sanjay Kapoor and Manjot Singh. The trailer, released earlier this week, teases a mix of romance, comedy, and action. The film hits theatres on August 29.

A day earlier, Janhvi and Sidharth visited Tirumala for darshan — a ritual Janhvi follows before her big releases and on her late mother Sridevi’s birth anniversary.
