Sonakshi Sinha’s 30 kg Transformation: Morning Cardio, Pilates, and Protein-Packed Diet
Before her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s 2010 hit Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha weighed around 95 kg. The actress underwent a remarkable transformation, shedding nearly 30 kg, and later shared insights into her fitness and diet routine in a 2018 interview with Vogue India.
Her regimen included 30 minutes of morning cardio on an empty stomach, followed by 20–25 minutes of brisk walking. Sonakshi also swears by Pilates, which she began six months prior to the interview. “I love working out on the Pilates reformer. There are thousands of exercises you can do on those machines, so it’s never boring. You can try something new every day,” she said.
On the diet front, she focused on protein for dinner, avoided fried foods and sugar, and limited bread to occasional cheat meals like pizza. Snacks included almonds, walnuts, or bananas. “I usually finish my carb intake by lunch. Fried foods, sugar are avoidable. Luckily, I don’t have much of a sweet tooth,” Sonakshi explained.
Her disciplined approach to fitness and nutrition has been widely admired and remains an inspiration for many aspiring actors and fitness enthusiasts alike.
