Is Alia Bhatt joining India’s Got Latent Season 2? Fans fear it could turn into a film promotion platform

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari appear to have joined Season 2 of India’s Got Latent as early guests, after a photo from the show’s set went viral on social media.

The image shows the two actors seated on a panel alongside Balraj Singh Ghai and comedian Aashish Solanki, both familiar faces from the show’s first season. A redesigned logo for the show was also visible in the background.

The appearance comes after comedian Samay Raina recently announced the return of the show in his stand-up special Still Alive.

Fans reacted with mixed opinions online. Some expressed concern that the show could shift toward celebrity promotions instead of its earlier format focused on comedians and internet personalities.

India’s Got Latent had previously become one of YouTube’s most-watched shows before being caught in controversy after Ranveer Allahbadia drew criticism over an explicit question during an episode.

The controversy led to multiple FIRs and police complaints against Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia and other panelists. The fallout also resulted in all Season 1 episodes being removed from YouTube following public backlash.

Alia and Sharvari are also preparing for Alpha, an upcoming film in the YRF spy universe that also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and R. Madhavan.
