Ananya Panday stuns in regal Banarasi saree at Marathi Filmfare Awards

Actor Ananya Panday turned heads at the Marathi Filmfare Awards in Mumbai on August 6, embracing timeless elegance in a regal Banarasi saree paired with statement gold jewellery.

A classic Banarasi look

For the star-studded event, Ananya chose a purple Banarasi saree by Manish Malhotra. The silk drape featured vibrant neon-pink borders, intricate silver brocade work and a richly woven pallu adorned with nature-inspired motifs, giving the traditional ensemble a luxurious appeal.

She styled the saree in a classic manner, with neatly pleated folds at the front and the pallu draped gracefully over one shoulder, allowing the detailed craftsmanship to stand out.

Modern blouse with traditional elegance

Adding a contemporary twist to the traditional attire, Ananya paired the saree with a matching strapless tube blouse. The bandeau-style blouse featured a sweetheart neckline and sparkling embellishments along the borders, creating a striking contrast with the heritage weave.

Statement jewellery and elegant styling

Complementing the outfit, the actor wore a heavy Kundan choker necklace, coordinated bracelets, delicate earrings and statement rings, lending a royal touch to the ensemble.

She completed the look with a centre-parted sleek bun adorned with fresh flowers, while her makeup featured feathered brows, winged eyeliner, mascara, mauve lips, rosy cheeks, a dewy complexion and a classic black bindi.
