70th Filmfare Awards: ‘Laapataa Ladies’ dominates, Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan share Best Actor
The 70th edition of the Filmfare Awards took place on Saturday at EKA Arena, Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad, hosted by Shah Rukh Khan alongside Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul. The ceremony featured vibrant performances from Shah Rukh Khan, Kriti Sanon, S, and Kajol, among others.
Laapataa Ladies emerged as the evening’s biggest winner, taking home 13 awards, including Best Film, matching the record previously held by Gully Boy. Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan shared the Best Actor in Leading Role Male trophy, while Alia Bhatt won Best Actress.
