A fresh wave of bomb threats targeted five prominent schools in Delhi on Wednesday, marking the third consecutive day of such incidents in the national capital.

The schools affected include St. Thomas School in Dwarka, Vasant Valley School in Vasant Kunj, Mother’s International School in Hauz Khas, Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar, and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Lodi Estate, according to ANI.

The threat emails reportedly began early in the morning, with St. Thomas School receiving a message around 5:26 am and Vasant Valley School around 6:30 am, PTI reported. Authorities swiftly responded, deploying teams from the Delhi Police, bomb disposal units, dog squads, and cyber experts to the sites.

As of now, no suspicious objects have been found. “The investigation is underway. Nothing suspicious has been found yet,” officials from the fire department confirmed.

This is the second consecutive day that St. Thomas School has received a bomb threat. A similar alert was reported on Tuesday, prompting immediate action by fire and police teams.

Earlier on July 14, CRPF Public School in Dwarka Sector 16 and the Navy School in Chanakyapuri were also targeted, leading to evacuations and heightened security.

The threats have not been limited to schools alone. On Tuesday, Delhi University’s St. Stephen’s College received a disturbing email warning that four IEDs and two RDX packets had been planted on campus.

In total, nearly 10 schools and one college have received bomb threats over the past three days, triggering alarm across the city’s educational institutions. Authorities are continuing investigations to identify the source and motive behind the emails.v
