16-year-old girl allegedly gang-raped inside sleeper bus in Greater Noida; driver, conductor arrested

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped inside a sleeper bus by its driver and conductor in Greater Noida last month, police said on Monday.

The two accused have been arrested in connection with the case.

According to police, the incident took place on August 4 near Pari Chowk in Greater Noida.

In her complaint, the survivor alleged that the driver and conductor raped her inside the bus and threatened to kill her if she resisted.

The accused later allegedly abandoned her near Delhi’s Kashmere Gate area, police said.
