Social media lit up after Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s dominant victory over Punjab Kings, with fans highlighting a heartwarming moment between Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma following the match.

On the field, RCB produced a commanding 92-run win, led by skipper Rajat Patidar’s explosive 93 off 33 balls. Contributions from Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya, along with strong powerplay spells from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jacob Duffy, helped RCB post a massive total of 254/5 and secure a place in the next stage.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma: relationship timeline

Kohli and Sharma first met around 2013 during a commercial shoot and began dating shortly after. After nearly four years together, they married in Italy in December 2017.

The couple welcomed their daughter Vamika in January 2021 and their son Akaay on February 15, 2024. They are known for keeping their personal life private and maintaining a strict no-photo policy for their children.

Reports suggest the couple may have relocated to London after the birth of their second child, though there has been no official confirmation.

Anushka Sharma, meanwhile, has largely stayed away from films in recent years. Her last full-length release was Zero (2018), directed by Aanand L. Rai, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film underperformed at the box office.

She later made a brief appearance in her production Qala, in the song “Ghodey Pe Sawaar.” Her upcoming film Chakda ’Xpress, a biopic on former cricketer Jhulan Goswami, was completed in 2022 but has not yet been released.
