Two Dead, Three Critically Injured in Massive Blast at Oxygen Cylinder Plant in Mohali
Two people lost their lives and three others sustained serious injuries in a powerful explosion at an oxygen cylinder plant in Punjab’s Mohali district on Wednesday morning.
The blast occurred at a unit in Industrial Area, Phase-9, jolting the surrounding locality. Soon after the explosion, senior police and civil administration officials, including the sub-divisional magistrate, reached the site to assess the damage and coordinate rescue operations.

The injured have been admitted to Mohali’s Civil Hospital, where they are reported to be in critical condition and under close medical supervision.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the explosion. A detailed investigation is currently underway.
