Trump: No Immediate Tariffs on Countries Buying Russian Oil, Decision May Come in Weeks

US President Donald Trump said on Friday he does not currently plan to impose retaliatory tariffs on nations purchasing Russian oil but may reconsider “in two or three weeks.”

Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity after his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, Trump said: “Because of what happened today, I think I don’t have to think about that. Now, I may have to think about it in two weeks or three weeks, but we don’t have to think about that right now. The meeting went very well.”
