Trump Expands List of Mediated Wars to 11, Adds India–Pakistan Flare-up

US President Donald Trump on Friday claimed he had mediated 11 international conflicts — adding four new ones to a list he has repeatedly cited, including the May flare-up between India and Pakistan.

Trump shared on social media an old post by Congressman Byron Donalds that listed the disputes, many of which the President has earlier highlighted: Armenia–Azerbaijan, Cambodia–Thailand, Congo–Rwanda, Egypt–Ethiopia, Serbia–Kosovo, and India–Pakistan.

The expanded list also included conflicts between Israel and several Middle Eastern and African nations — Iran, Morocco, Sudan, UAE, and Bahrain.

Donalds, while sharing the list, wrote: “This is PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH in action and the results are indisputable.”

The President’s post came a day after he again insisted that he mediated the India–Pakistan conflict, during a joint press briefing with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on his state visit to the UK.

Trump reiterated that while his “biggest disappointment” had been Russian President Vladimir Putin “letting him down” over Ukraine, he had succeeded elsewhere, including in preventing what he called a “potential nuclear war” between India and Pakistan. New Delhi has consistently denied these claims.

Trump has long argued that he deserves recognition — including the Nobel Peace Prize — for his role in peace deals. His list of mediated disputes includes the Armenia–Azerbaijan agreement, the Israel–Iran flare-up in June, the Nile river standoff between Egypt and Ethiopia, the Congo–Rwanda peace deal, and a July settlement between Thailand and Cambodia over a contested border.
