Tabu reaffirmed that style has no age bar as she took centre stage as the showstopper for designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Her poised walk, commanding presence and striking eye contact left the audience enthralled, with veteran stars Jaya Bachchan, Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan among those cheering her on.

The 54-year-old actor turned heads in a dramatic black-and-white ensemble featuring black trousers, a cowl-neck tunic and a long coat embellished with intricate silver hand embroidery and shimmering crystals. A bold red lip, kohl-rimmed eyes, a sleek high bun and glossy black loafers completed her powerful, elegant look.

The designers shared photos from the event on Instagram, describing the outfit as part of their ‘A Thousand and One Nights’ interpretation at Art Mumbai. They highlighted the “maximal Architectural coat” reimagined with “scintillating silver crystals and thousands of sequins” on rich black satin and crepe de chine — a fusion of luxury, fantasy and craftsmanship meant to evoke a “nocturnal celebration.”
