Sunny Deol Unveils First Poster of Border 2, Release Date Moved to January 22
On the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, the makers of the much-awaited action war drama Border 2 revealed its first poster. Actor Sunny Deol took to Instagram to share the intense new look, also announcing a change in the film’s release date.
A Fierce First Look
The poster captures an enraged Sunny Deol in full soldier gear, wielding a bazooka and aiming at the enemy, mid-battle cry. Behind him, soldiers charge forward with the Indian tricolour, evoking the iconic post-Kargil War photograph where jawans posed with the flag. Gunfire and chaos fill the backdrop, setting the tone for high-octane patriotism.
New Release Date
Originally slated for January 23, 2026, Border 2 will now hit theatres a day earlier—January 22—capitalizing on the extended Republic Day weekend. Sharing the poster, Sunny wrote: “Hindustan ke liye ladenge… phir ek baar!” along with the film’s release announcement.
Fans React
The poster triggered a wave of excitement online. “Goosebumps. This will be epic,” one fan commented. Another wrote, “Sunny Deol at his best. Can’t wait to see Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty’s looks.”
