SIIMA 2025 Winners: The Goat Life, Amaran Dominate; Sai Pallavi, Prithviraj Sukumaran Bag Top Acting Awards

Stars from the Tamil and Malayalam film industries were celebrated at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2025 in Dubai on Saturday. Big winners included Amaran, Maharaja, and Lubber Pandhu in Tamil, while The Goat Life (Aadujeevitham) and ARM took home top Malayalam honours.

Veteran actor Sivakumar received the Exemplary Achievement Award for his lifelong contribution to cinema, while actress Trisha was honoured for completing 25 years in South Indian films.

• Best Director: Rajkumar Periasamy (Amaran)

• Best Actor (Male – Critics’ Choice): Karthi (Meiyazhagan)

• Best Actor (Female): Sai Pallavi (Amaran)

• Best Actor (Negative Role): Anurag Kashyap (Maharaja)

• Special Rising Star: Harish Kalyan (Lubber Pandhu)

Major Malayalam Winners

• Best Film: Manjummel Boys

• Best Director: Blessy (Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life)

• Best Actor (Male): Prithviraj Sukumaran (The Goat Life)

• Best Actor (Female): Urvashi (Ullozhukku)

• Best Music Director: Dhibu Ninan Thomas (ARM)

SIIMA also honoured Telugu and Kannada cinema, with Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna winning top acting awards, alongside multiple wins for Kalki 2898 AD (Telugu) and Gowri (Kannada).
