Saudi Airlines Flight Sparks Scare in Lucknow as Smoke and Sparks Emerge from Landing Gear
A Saudia Airlines flight from Jeddah caused a brief scare at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on Saturday morning after smoke was spotted coming from the aircraft’s wheels shortly after landing.
The incident occurred upon the arrival of Flight SV 312. Airport ground staff quickly alerted the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team, which responded promptly. In coordination with the Saudi technical crew, the team successfully contained the smoke before any damage occurred.
Airport officials confirmed that all passengers disembarked safely and no injuries were reported. Flight operations at the airport remained unaffected.
Authorities described the incident as minor and stressed that the response was precautionary. An official investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of the smoke.
