Ravi Dubey Shares Photo with Ranbir Kapoor and Nitesh Tiwari from Ramayana Sets, Calls Them ‘Legends’

Actor Ravi Dubey, who is set to portray Laxman in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious Ramayana, took to Instagram on Friday to share a behind-the-scenes photo featuring himself with actor Ranbir Kapoor and director Nitesh Tiwari.

In the picture, Ranbir and Ravi flank Tiwari as the trio poses with smiles on the film’s set. The background shows members of the crew, suggesting the photo was taken during a break in filming. Ranbir sports a sharp black ensemble with a clean-shaven look, while Nitesh Tiwari wears a casual checked shirt and jeans. Ravi appears in a white tee layered with a denim shirt and pants.

Sharing the picture, Ravi captioned it with a line inspired by Lord Ram: “Ram is rich in patience and great virtue, he is the conqueror of the world. In the company of legends 🙏 @niteshtiwari22 sir #ranbirkapoor bhai.” Fans flooded the comments section with excitement, praising the trio’s collaboration. “Ranbir’s aura + Ravi’s charm + Nitesh’s genius = Masterpiece loading!” one user wrote, while another commented, “Just can’t wait to see the bond between you and Ranbir.”

About Ramayana

Earlier this month, the makers released an introduction video offering a glimpse into the “immortal story of Rama vs Ravana.” The film is being helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.

The epic adaptation boasts a stellar cast: Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and now Ravi Dubey as Laxman. The screenplay is written by Shridhar Raghavan and the music is composed by Oscar winners Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman.

“This is more than just a film. It’s a vision to transcend borders while honouring the soul of our culture,” said Tiwari at the teaser launch.

Ramayana: Part One is slated for release on Diwali 2026, followed by Part Two in Diwali 2027.
