Ranveer Singh Joins Bollywood Stars at Global Peace Honours 2025, Pays Tribute to 26/11, Pahalgam and Delhi Blast Victims

Ranveer Singh was among the key attendees at the Global Peace Honours 2025, where he joined families of 26/11 victims and honoured the heroes of the Mumbai terror attacks. The event also saw the presence of several Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Suniel Shetty, Rajat Bedi, Karisma Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, Rakul Preet Singh, and Anu Malik.

Ranveer’s Tribute to Victims and Soldiers

During the ceremony, the Dhurandhar actor paid homage to the victims of the Pahalgam and 26/11 attacks, as well as those affected by the recent Delhi car blast. He also saluted the bravery and resilience of India’s security forces.

Ranveer delivered an emotional introduction for 26/11 hero Shri Sadanand Date, saying:
“Jeevan ke 35 saal inhone desh ko samarpit kar diye… 26/11 ke baad QRTs, ATCs, aise kayi systems banane mein yogdaan diya… Crime Branch, EOW, Force One, ATS, NIA—saare organisations mein apni zimmedari sampoorna nishta se nibhayi… Zordaar taaliyan… Aaplya Maharashtra chi shaan – Dr. Sadanand Date ji!”

(Translation: He dedicated 35 years of his life to the nation… After 26/11, he helped develop systems like QRTs and ATCs, and served with sincerity across the Crime Branch, EOW, Force One, ATS, and NIA… Please welcome the pride of Maharashtra – Dr. Sadanand Date.)

For the uninitiated, Shri Sadanand Date was critically injured during the 26/11 Mumbai siege and was among the first officers to confront terrorists Ajmal Kasab and Abu Ismail.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Tribute

Shah Rukh Khan also extended a heartfelt message during the event. In a video shared by ANI, he said, “My humble tribute to the innocent people who lost their lives in the 26/11 terrorist attack, the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and the recent Delhi blasts, and my respectful salute to our brave security personnel who were martyred in these attacks.”
