Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday launched a sharp attack on Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, alleging that he was siding with those “destroying Indian democracy.”

“This is another milestone in showing the youth of this country how elections are being rigged,” Gandhi told reporters. “I am making a strong claim about CEC Gyanesh Kumar. I will present proof — black and white, absolutely clear — that the Election Commission is protecting those who have undermined democracy.”
He further alleged that he would expose the “method by which votes are being added and deleted,” intensifying the Opposition’s criticism of the poll body.
