Prince William breaks social media silence following Kate’s cancer announcement
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, returned to social media with his first post since his wife, Princess Kate Middleton, announced her cancer diagnosis. The post was in support of British soccer player Rachel Daly, who announced her retirement from the sport.
William thanked Daly for her performance with the Lionesses and wished her success with Aston Villa.

The post was made on both the Duke of Sussex’s account and the Duchess of Sussex’s account, signed “W,” showing that the note was personally written by Prince William.
