Popular Travel Influencer Anunay Sood Passes Away, Family Confirms

Popular travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood has died at the age of 32, his family announced in an Instagram post on Thursday. The cause of death has not been disclosed. Sood’s recent social media posts indicated he was in Las Vegas just days before his passing.

“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing,” the family’s statement read, requesting privacy and urging followers not to gather near personal property. “Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace.”

Sood, who lived in Dubai, had built a massive following online with his striking travel photography, reels and vlogs. He had over 1.4 million followers on Instagram and 380,000 subscribers on YouTube, and was featured in Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars list for three consecutive years (2022, 2023, 2024).

According to his Forbes profile, Sood began by documenting his travels on Instagram before expanding into content creation and running a marketing firm. His most recent Instagram post, uploaded two days ago, showed him in Las Vegas alongside luxury sports cars. His latest YouTube video, posted on November 3, was titled “Exploring the Hidden Side of Switzerland | Places Tourists Never Visit.”
