From colour-changing concoctions to glitter-kissed classics, here are three festive cocktails you can easily whip up at home using simple ingredients for a truly show-stopping start to the year.


Midnight Margarita

Toast the countdown with a sparkling, colour-shifting margarita finished with playful bubbly gummy bears—perfect for ringing in the New Year in style.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ oz blue curaçao

  • 1 oz lavender syrup

  • 1.5 oz tequila

  • ¾ oz freshly squeezed lime juice

  • Prosecco, to top

  • Midnight black edible glitter

  • Bubbly gummy bears (for garnish)

Method:
Add blue curaçao, lavender syrup, lime juice, tequila and a dash of edible glitter to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for about eight seconds. For a more dramatic effect, add a little extra glitter. Strain into a whiskey glass over fresh ice, gently top with Prosecco, and garnish with bubbly gummy bears before serving.

Method:

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz pink gin

  • ½ oz lemon juice

  • ½ oz simple syrup

  • Prosecco

Method:
