Mumbai on High Alert After Threat of 34 ‘Human Bombs’ Carrying RDX

Mumbai Police on Friday said they are on high alert following a threat call in which the caller claimed that 34 “human bombs” carrying 400 kg of RDX had been planted in vehicles across the city. The call was received via the traffic police helpline.

The threat was reportedly issued by an organization called Lashkar-e-Jihadi on the eve of Anant Chaturdashi, prompting authorities to enhance security across the state.

According to the message, the 34 vehicles carrying human bombs could cause widespread devastation, with the caller claiming the potential to kill one crore people.
