Kim Kardashian is marking the strong response to her latest Skims collaboration with Nike through a striking new photoshoot for Complex magazine. The billionaire entrepreneur appears on the cover wearing charcoal gray leggings from the NikeSkims line, paired with matching fingerless gloves and a small gray workout towel draped over her shoulders.
Shot by Jeremy Soma and styled by David Friend, the editorial showcases multiple looks from the partnership. In one of the standout images, Kardashian is seen in a pale pink set complemented by a Skims take on Nike’s iconic split-toe sneaker, the Nike Air Rift.
In its cover story, Complex dubbed Kardashian “the Michael Jordan of influencing,” drawing a parallel to Michael Jordan’s historic relationship with Nike. Reacting to the comparison, Kardashian said she felt honored by the analogy, noting that Nike had not launched a comparable business venture since the Jordan brand partnership.
“I’m humbled by the comparison,” Kardashian told the publication, emphasizing that she does not take Nike’s decision to collaborate lightly.
Kardashian’s appearance also reflects a full-circle moment with Complex. She first featured on the magazine’s cover in 2007 under the headline “Who is Kim Kardashian?” and returned in 2009 alongside her former husband Ye.
Addressing her relationship with Ye, Kardashian reiterated that their focus remains on family. “We’ll always be family,” she said, adding that both share a commitment to doing what is best for their children.
