Isha Ambani turns heads in Manish Malhotra’s gold couture at Paris Haute Couture Week
Manish Malhotra marked a historic milestone with his debut at Paris Haute Couture Week, drawing a star-studded front row that included Isha Ambani, Karan Johar and fashion icon Anna Wintour.
For the landmark showcase, Isha Ambani wore a bespoke gold couture creation designed by Manish Malhotra from his Autumn/Winter 2026 Haute Couture collection.
The handcrafted ankle-length gown featured a sculpted corseted silhouette with intricate hand embroidery using vintage salli and taban sequins, hand-set gemstones and a halter neckline that highlighted the meticulous craftsmanship.
Celebrity stylist Andrew Mukamal completed the look with gold Ferragamo heels and heirloom-inspired jewellery from Nita Ambani’s private collection, paired with Lorraine Schwartz diamond drop earrings and a statement ring, allowing the couture gown to remain the focal point.
Isha opted for soft glamour with golden eye makeup, winged eyeliner, rosy cheeks, a glossy brown-red lip and sleek centre-parted hair.
Seated beside Isha in the front row was Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, whose appearance also drew attention. Wintour wore a mustard-gold silk midi dress featuring bold purple floral motifs, accessorised with a statement gemstone necklace, her signature oversized black sunglasses and her iconic blonde bob.
Photos of Isha Ambani and Anna Wintour chatting and smiling together quickly went viral on social media, adding to the buzz surrounding Manish Malhotra’s landmark Paris Haute Couture debut.
