India Advises All Indian Nationals In UAE To Avoid Unnecessary Travel

The Indian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has advised all Indian nationals in the country to avoid unnecessary travel and exercise heightened caution amid the evolving security situation in the wider West Asia region.

In an advisory issued on Wednesday, the embassy urged Indian citizens to remain vigilant, closely follow updates issued by local authorities, and comply with all official safety instructions. Indians have also been advised to stay away from crowded public places and areas where security restrictions may be in force.

The advisory comes against the backdrop of rising regional tensions, which have prompted several countries to issue precautionary travel alerts for their citizens. While there is no immediate indication of a direct threat to Indian nationals in the UAE, the embassy said the advisory is being issued as a preventive measure.

Indian citizens have been encouraged to keep their travel documents and emergency contacts readily accessible and to monitor official communication channels for any fresh updates. Those requiring urgent assistance have been asked to contact the Indian Embassy or the nearest Consulate General.

The UAE is home to one of the largest Indian expatriate communities, with millions of Indians living and working across the country. The Indian mission said it remains in close coordination with the UAE authorities and will continue to monitor the situation.

The embassy reiterated that the advisory is precautionary in nature and urged Indian nationals to remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information on social media, and rely only on official sources for updates.
