Hillary Clinton Slams RFK Jr., Warns “Crackpot Ideas” on Health Are Costing Lives

Hillary Clinton on Wednesday accused the Trump administration of rolling back progress on public health and denounced Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for spreading “crackpot ideas.”

Speaking on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee warned that recent comments by Trump and Kennedy about Tylenol, vaccines and autism would fuel confusion and cost lives.

“This is so crazy, so wrongheaded, so shortsighted — and it’s going to cause deaths,” Clinton said. “These guys want to literally turn the clock back.”

She argued that when both a president and cabinet secretary make unproven claims, “people are confused” and vulnerable to “a very destructive anti-science tirade.”

The White House dismissed her criticism. Spokesman Kush Desai said Clinton’s “open contempt and condescension toward everyday Americans” explained her 2016 loss to Trump and why she is “no longer relevant.”
