Fresh Revelations in Swami Chaitanyananda Molestation Case: Phone Chats, Secret Photos Surface

New details have emerged in the investigation against self-styled godman Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, accused of molesting more than 17 female students. Police say examination of his phone and iPad has revealed secretly clicked photographs of women, inappropriate chats, and evidence of luring victims with false job promises.

DCP (Southwest) Amit Goel confirmed that several devices, including three phones, are under scrutiny. Investigators said Saraswati deceived women by offering jobs as air hostesses, showering them with gifts and trips abroad, and asking some to send yoga photos.

Officers also disclosed that Saraswati stayed in touch with female students even while absconding, using a London-based number on WhatsApp to continue conversations. Chats recovered allegedly show him sending inappropriate emojis and asking women to “seduce” him. Screenshots of students’ display pictures and photos of air hostesses were also found.

Saraswati, a former chairman of a management institute in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj, was arrested in Agra on Sunday after days on the run. He is in five-day police custody and faces charges of mass molestation, cheating, and forgery. Police have also questioned three former female staff members — including an ex-associate dean and two wardens — accused of helping him harass students.
