Former J&K Governor Satyapal Malik Passes Away at 79 After Prolonged Illness
Satyapal Malik, former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 79 at Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, following a prolonged illness. The news was confirmed by his personal secretary K.S. Rana, who said Malik had been undergoing treatment for kidney-related complications.
Hospital authorities stated that Malik died at 1:10 PM on Tuesday, according to news agency ANI.
The veteran politician had been ailing for some time.
