Fatima Bosch Speaks Out on Miss Universe 2025 Scandals: ‘This Crown Is for Serving Others’
Fatima Bosch, Miss Universe 2025 from Mexico, has opened up about the challenges of public life and the controversies surrounding her reign, emphasizing that her mission is dedicated entirely to service.
In a candid interview with CNN on December 4, Fatima addressed the scandals that have surfaced since she was crowned on November 21, stating that the title’s primary purpose is to serve others without distraction.
“So, it’s really hard, all the things that are going on, because sometimes I think that people forget that we are humans. And this crown is only for the purpose of serving others. So if you have a goal and a purpose, just follow it and don’t get distracted,” she said.
The conversation turned emotional when the anchor praised her for her courage and mission of female empowerment. Fatima responded:
“Thank you for your words. You are really kind. I really appreciate it, and yeah, it makes me emotional because I’m here to speak up and I want to do philanthropy.”
Miss Universe 2025 Controversies
Fatima’s path to the crown has been marked by multiple controversies. Allegations emerged around the pageant organization, including claims of rigging and accusations that the top 30 contestants were pre-selected by a secret panel of judges before the preliminary rounds.
Most recently, Miss Haiti demanded an independent investigation into the Miss Universe 2025 pageant, two weeks after Fatima was crowned in Bangkok, Thailand. The request has intensified pressure on the Miss Universe Organisation to address ongoing allegations of corruption surrounding the 2025 competition.
Despite the challenges, Fatima continues to focus on her philanthropic mission and public service, highlighting her dedication to making a positive impact beyond the spotlight.
