Interest in the UAE city has surged 62 percent year-on-year, thanks to its luxury shopping, desert safaris, theme parks, global cuisine, and family-friendly experiences.

Asia-Pacific Dominates Searches
Following Dubai, Singapore ranks second, with Bangkok and Tokyo also making the top five. Tokyo saw a 90 percent jump in accommodation searches, driven by its seasonal attractions, pop culture, and culinary offerings. Overall, 8 of the top 10 international destinations sought by Indian travellers are in the Asia-Pacific region, highlighting a preference for short-haul travel.

Leisure destinations offering nature and wellness, such as Ooty, Rishikesh, Lonavala, Jaipur, and Puducherry, have seen a 25 percent year-on-year increase in accommodation searches.

There is growing interest in wellness retreats, nature-based holidays, and cultural immersion experiences, aligning with global trends like slow travel, noctourism, and purpose-driven itineraries. Destinations offering yoga, forest walks, heritage stays, and local cuisine are particularly gaining traction.
