Instituto Cervantes New Delhi, in collaboration with the Embassies of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela, is set to host one of the most anticipated cultural celebrations of the year—Día E and Día del Libro (Spanish Language Day and World Book Day).

This vibrant, day-long celebration will honour the richness, diversity, and global influence of the Spanish language, while also commemorating World Book Day. The event will feature an engaging lineup of activities curated by participating embassies, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the cultural, musical, gastronomic, and traditional heritage of Spanish-speaking nations.

Attendees can explore country pavilions and interactive stalls that showcase the distinctive identities of each participating nation. The programme includes Latin dance workshops, theatrical performances, literary discussions, short film screenings, trivia sessions, and a host of immersive cultural activities designed for audiences of all ages. Such celebrations traditionally bring together literature, language, and cultural exchange through diverse public activities and embassy participation.

The festivities will culminate in a high-energy live performance by Latin band Abakorao, promising to transform the venue into a lively Latin street fiesta in the heart of New Delhi.
