Dense Fog Forces PM Modi’s Helicopter to Return to Kolkata from Taherpur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s helicopter was forced to return to Kolkata airport on Saturday afternoon after dense fog and low visibility prevented it from landing at the Taherpur helipad in West Bengal, news agency PTI reported, citing an official.

According to the official, the chopper hovered over the helipad for some time but could not land due to poor visibility. “The PM’s chopper made a U-turn after hovering over the helipad ground for a while and returned to the Kolkata airport,” the official said.
