A 24-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by four men at a party in north Delhi’s Civil Lines on Sunday night, police said on Tuesday. A case has been registered and teams are searching for the absconding accused.

According to police, the woman, employed with a Gurugram-based firm, stated in her complaint that a male friend invited her to a party at a house near Under Hill Road. She met her friend, another acquaintance, and two other men there. All of them allegedly consumed alcohol, after which her drink was spiked, leaving her semi-conscious.

She alleged the four men took her to the washroom, assaulted her, filmed the act, and threatened to post the video online if she approached police. The accused later dropped her outside her home. She contacted police, underwent a medical examination, and her parents were informed.

Police visited the Civil Lines house, but the accused were missing. Search operations are underway.

In a separate case reported in Mundka on Monday, a 32-year-old woman alleged she was raped by a man who had promised to help her find a job. Police said she fled from her abusive husband in Bengaluru and met the accused on a train. He arranged rental accommodation for her but allegedly assaulted her on Sunday night.

Cases have been registered in both incidents, and investigations are ongoing.
