The 114th National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan) was celebrated with warmth and grandeur at a reception hosted by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India (TECC) at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.
The event brought together an esteemed gathering of diplomats, dignitaries, and cultural aficionados, reflecting the deepening ties between Taiwan and India.

More than just a ceremonial occasion, the celebration underscored Taiwan’s growing global engagement and stood as a vibrant symbol of the enduring friendship and shared values between the two nations.
Guests were welcomed with thoughtful hospitality upon arrival, including commemorative brooches at the registration desk celebrating 30 years of Taiwan–India relations—setting a festive and engaging tone for the evening.

The celebration was led by H.E. Dr. Muh-Min Chen, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) in India, alongside Mrs. Chen, both of whom warmly greeted attendees and expressed heartfelt appreciation for their presence on this significant occasion.
In his opening address, H.E. Dr. Chen underscored the shared democratic values, deepening economic collaboration, and expanding people-to-people exchanges between Taiwan and India. He reaffirmed Taiwan’s steadfast commitment to peace, prosperity, and meaningful partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region.

In his concluding remarks, H.E. Dr. Muh-Min Chen shared his pride in Taiwan’s innovation and excellence, stating: “Tonight, we are delighted to showcase Taiwan’s innovation through products such as the TAYSIS UAV, ASUS computers, Kavalan Whisky, and Taiwanese Pop Tea. These items represent Taiwan’s pride, and I invite you all to experience them.”
