As Modi Meets Xi and Putin, US Calls India Partnership a ‘Defining Relationship’
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi showcased camaraderie with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin at the SCO Summit in Tianjin, the United States on Monday underscored that its partnership with India “continues to reach new heights.”
In a post on X, the US Embassy in India, citing Secretary of State Marco Rubio, called the ties between India and the United States a “defining relationship of the 21st century.” The post added, “From innovation and entrepreneurship to defense and bilateral ties, it’s the enduring friendship between our two peoples that fuels this journey.”
The Embassy encouraged users to follow the hashtag #USIndiaFWDforOurPeople as part of a campaign spotlighting the people, progress, and possibilities driving the bilateral partnership.
