Almaty to Host TBEX Asia 2026, Welcoming Global Travel Experts and Media Creators

Almaty is set to host the Travel Blog Exchange (TBEX) Asia from August 20 to 23, 2026, bringing together over 300 prominent travel writers, bloggers, and content creators from around the world. According to Kazakh Tourism, the event is projected to reach a global audience of nearly 300 million people.

At a press conference in Almaty, TBEX President Rick Calvert, alongside officials from Kazakh Tourism and the Almaty Tourism Bureau, emphasized the significance of the event for Kazakhstan’s tourism landscape.

“Kazakhstan offers incredible natural beauty, rich culture, and culinary diversity. It’s a perfect destination to inspire global travel creators,” said Calvert. “While here, they will produce tens of thousands of pieces of content, amplifying Kazakhstan’s profile on social media and beyond.”

TBEX Asia 2026 aims to spotlight Kazakhstan’s diverse tourism offerings and foster collaboration between local tourism stakeholders and international media professionals. The conference will also feature discussions on digital trends in travel, evolving media landscapes, and strategies for global engagement.
