Airlines and Delhi Airport Issue Travel Advisories Amid Heavy Rain, IMD Predicts More Showers
Due to persistent rainfall and waterlogging across Delhi, airlines including IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Air India have issued travel advisories for passengers flying to and from the capital.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued warnings of heavy rain and thunderstorms over Delhi-NCR in the next three hours.

IndiGo warned of potential flight delays and advised passengers to factor in additional travel time, stating that the airline is working to maintain smooth ground operations.

Air India asked passengers to confirm flight timings before leaving for the airport, noting that rainfall may impact operations.
Delhi Airport: The airport also warned that flight operations could be affected and assured that ground staff are working to maintain smooth operations.
Weather Update: The IMD forecast continued rainfall for Delhi, with green and yellow alerts issued for various areas. Parts of South and Southeast Delhi, among others, received heavy showers on Wednesday. Intense spells of rain are expected to persist across the city and NCR.
Temperature and Rainfall: Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 22.8°C, below normal, with maximum expected to reach 32°C. Safdarjung saw 19.8 mm of rain in the last 24 hours, while other areas recorded 5.7–28.2 mm. Relative humidity stood at 97% at 8:30 am.
Air Quality: The city’s air quality remains in the ‘satisfactory’ category, with an AQI of 52, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
