Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the India AI Impact Expo at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, marking the opening of one of the country’s largest artificial intelligence showcases. During his visit, the Prime Minister toured multiple stalls and interacted with participating companies and startups.

The expo features more than 600 high-potential startups alongside 13 country pavilions, highlighting global collaboration and innovation within the AI ecosystem. The India AI Impact Summit, being held concurrently at the venue, will run until February 20.

As per official guidance, the summit will open to the general public from February 17 following its inauguration. The exhibition component includes international participation from countries such as Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy, underscoring the event’s global footprint.

Organisers said the summit will host around 300 pavilions and live demonstrations, arranged across three thematic pillars — people, planet, and progress — and is expected to attract significant footfall, including international delegates.

Spread across 10 dedicated arenas covering over 7,000 square metres, the event brings together technology firms, startups, state governments, and research institutions. It is designed to foster partnerships, business opportunities, and broader engagement with developments shaping the global AI landscape.
