AACCI Launches Philippines Chapter, Ushering in a New Era of Asia–Africa Economic Cooperation
The Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) has officially inaugurated its Philippines Chapter, marking a major milestone in its efforts to strengthen economic ties and enhance cross-border collaboration between Asia and Africa.
The launch event, held at McKinley in Bonifacio Global City, brought together distinguished leaders, business executives, and international trade advocates who witnessed the formal establishment of AACCI’s presence in the Philippines.
During the ceremony, Ms. Sherlyn Solanoy was formally appointed as President of the AACCI Philippines Chapter, acknowledging her leadership, vision, and dedication to promoting global partnerships and sustainable economic growth.
AACCI said the creation of the Philippines Chapter reflects its commitment to unlocking new opportunities for Filipino businesses, advancing bilateral trade, and supporting initiatives that connect markets across the two continents.
Leaders of the organization expressed confidence that the new chapter will play a pivotal role in driving inclusive economic development, fostering entrepreneurship, and strengthening both diplomatic and commercial relationships.
AACCI noted that it looks forward to rolling out high-impact programs, trade missions, and partnerships aimed at empowering local industries and expanding the Philippines’ footprint within the broader Asian–African economic landscape.
