Ghaziabad teen murder accused killed in police encounter in Khoda

The main accused in the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Ghaziabad’s Khoda area was killed following a police encounter in the early hours of Sunday, officials said.

The accused, a resident of Khoda, was wanted in connection with the stabbing of a Class 11 student who died on Friday while undergoing treatment for his injuries.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Dhawal Jaiswal, the suspect was injured in an exchange of fire with a police team during an operation in the Khoda area.

He was subsequently taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment, police said.
