Salman Khan’s surprise cameo in Raja Shivaji sets social media buzzing
Salman Khan has taken over social media following his unexpected appearance as Jiva Mahala in Raja Shivaji, catching fans completely off guard.
Admirers have flooded platforms like X and Instagram with clips and screenshots, praising his intense look—complete with an orange turban, kurta and Maratha sword—calling his brief role one of the film’s standout moments.
Fans react to the cameo
Though the appearance was kept tightly under wraps, speculation had been building for months that Salman would play Jiva Mahala in the Riteish Deshmukh directorial. Viral clips show Salman making a dramatic entry alongside Riteish, who portrays Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Fans were quick to celebrate the “mass” moment. One user wrote, “Cameo aisa ki puri movie ek taraf, aur Bhai ki entry ek taraf,” while others called it a memorable surprise. Some even joked that Salman might hold a record for the most cameos in Bollywood.
How Salman joined the project
Riteish Deshmukh ранее revealed that Salman himself showed interest in being part of the film. During a New Year gathering, Salman casually asked about the project and, upon learning no role had been planned for him, insisted on joining.
According to Riteish, Salman said, “You can’t make the film without me, I have to be in it,” eventually leading to a role being created for him in the historical drama.
