Trump Says Gaza Stabilization Force Is Already Running

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that an International Stabilization Force for Gaza is effectively already operational and is expected to expand with the participation of additional countries.

Speaking in the Oval Office, Trump said, “I think that, in a form, it’s already running. More and more countries are coming into it. They’re already in, but they’ll send any number of troops that I ask them to send.”

Trump also said his administration is reviewing whether Israel breached the Gaza ceasefire by killing a Hamas leader on Saturday, indicating the issue is under active examination by U.S. officials.
