Jennifer Lopez Lands in Udaipur for Billionaire Mantena Wedding; Paparazzi Mistake Her for Rihanna

The lavish Udaipur wedding of Netra Mantena — daughter of Orlando-based pharma billionaire Padmaja and Rama Raju Mantena — and Vamsi Gadiraju continues to draw global attention, with international and Bollywood stars arriving for the high-profile celebrations. Adding to the star power, Jennifer Lopez touched down in India on Friday.

J.Lo arrives to a case of mistaken identity
A paparazzo account shared footage of the American singer-actor at the Udaipur airport, where she greeted photographers with a wave and a flying kiss. Dressed in a long brown fur coat, sunglasses and black heels, Lopez quickly made her way to her car. In a humorous moment, paparazzi were heard shouting, “Welcome to India, Rihanna ma’am,” mistaking her for the pop star.

Lopez previously performed at the Udaipur wedding of UK tycoon Sanjay Hinduja and Anu Mahtani, sister of designer Nandita Mahtani.

A star-packed celebration
The Mantena–Gadiraju festivities began with a grand sangeet on November 21 at The Leela Palace. Justin Bieber is also expected to perform during the wedding events.

Bollywood celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez lit up the sangeet stage. DJ Tiësto kept guests dancing late into the night.

Multiple videos from the celebrations have gone viral — from Karan Johar hosting segments of the event to Ranveer Singh dancing to Aankh Marey and getting the crowd to join in, as well as grooving to What Jhumka? alongside Donald Trump Jr.’s partner.

Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju are set to tie the knot on November 23 in Udaipur.
