With just nine days to go for the release of Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated action film They Call Him OG (marketed as OG), excitement is already at a fever pitch. Advance bookings opened on Tuesday in select overseas territories, and the response has been phenomenal—particularly at Melbourne’s IMAX, where a single show sold out in just two minutes.

Fans flooded social media with screenshots, showcasing the Melbourne IMAX bookings. Directed by Sujeeth, OG could be Pawan Kalyan’s final film for the foreseeable future. The actor, recently elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and appointed Deputy Chief Minister, has stepped back from full-time acting. He had promised to complete OG before focusing on his political career.

The film also stars Priyanka Mohan and marks Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi’s Telugu debut. OG follows gangster Ojas Gambheera (Pawan), who returns to Mumbai after a ten-year disappearance to confront rival crime boss Omi Bhau (Emraan).
