Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda Win IMDb Breakout Star Awards After Blockbuster Debut in Saiyaara

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who made a sensational Bollywood debut in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, have been honoured with IMDb’s Breakout Star STARmeter Awards. The accolade, driven by IMDb’s global user engagement rankings, comes after the film’s massive success and the duo’s soaring popularity.

In July, Ahaan topped the IMDb Popular Indian Celebrities list, with Suri at No. 2 and Aneet at No. 3. Calling it the first award of his acting career, Ahaan said the recognition was “all the more special” because it came directly from audiences.

Aneet credited the love for Saiyaara and her performance for the win, dedicating the honour to the film’s cast, crew, and co-star Ahaan.

The romantic drama, which follows a musician and a poet whose love story faces an unexpected twist, grossed over ₹500 crore worldwide—becoming the year’s second-highest earner and the biggest romantic hit in Indian cinema history.
